About

eastern shore carpenter

Hi, I’m Kevin Bryant.

I grew up in Streator, Illinois, where I took all possible woodworking classes from the 6th grade to the end of high school.

I knew from an early age that I wanted to be involved with carpentry.

My first big project was in the 11th grade, where our class built a house from scratch. We also renovated a 1920’s farm house.

I left Illinois at the age of 18 to come to the Washington, DC area, where I worked in the construction business for 15 years, which eventually led me to the eastern shore. I’ve also had some stints with drywall and painting, but my passion remains with carpentry.

By day I provide caretaker/maintenance services for some nearby properties. My evenings are spent in my wood shop, working on commissioned projects for clients, as well as my personal pieces, which I take to local shows to sell.

I live across the water from Oxford with my wife Julie, and our West Highland White Terrier, Louie.
